Selected work

A growing catalog, one idea at a time.

One release at a time, each with its own world, its own rules and its own page. This is where every one of them will live.

About the studio

Every game has a main mode.

The one people return to once the novelty wears off. That is the only mode worth building, so it is the one we start from.

Main Mode Studio is one person. I design the systems, write the code, balance the numbers and ship the builds.

I make games about systems you can practise—money, risk, the trade-offs that decide how things go. Each one begins on paper as rules and numbers, and only becomes a screen once the system is genuinely worth playing. That keeps the catalog small on purpose: a release goes out when it still holds up on the tenth run, not the first.

One game at a time, free, with nothing that matters behind a paywall. Wealthbound is the first; the next ships when it holds up.

  • Systems before screens

Rules and economy are written as pure logic, away from the interface. If the model is not interesting on paper, no amount of polish rescues it.

  • Free without the fine print

No paywalled progress, no timers you have to pay to skip. Everything we ship can be finished without opening your wallet.

  • Ship small, then sharpen

One release at a time, sharpened with the people actually playing it. New updates and languages beat a longer backlog.
