Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Wealthbound ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you play it. Wealthbound is a single-player, run-based financial strategy game with optional friend-based multiplayer. We designed it to work without asking you for personal details such as your name, email address, or phone number.
1. Information We Collect
We do not ask you to create an account or enter personal information. The App and the third-party services it uses process the following limited data automatically:

We use this to understand how the game is actually played — where players get stuck, which parts are too hard, and whether people come back — so we can improve it. What we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise GPS location, or payment information. Wealthbound does not contain in-app purchases, and no real-world money is used or won inside the game.
2. How We Use Information
- To run the game and save your progress on your device.
- To enable optional friend-based multiplayer sessions.
- To detect, diagnose and fix crashes and technical problems.
- To show optional rewarded advertisements that you choose to watch in exchange for in-game bonuses (extra runs or a bankruptcy rescue). Ads are never required to play.
- To measure how the game is played in aggregate — how many players finish a run, where they stop, which careers are unbalanced — so we can improve the design.
- To adjust game settings remotely without requiring you to install an update.
3. Advertising
Wealthbound shows rewarded ads through Google AdMob. These are optional — you only see an ad if you choose to watch one for an in-game reward. There are no forced, interstitial, or banner ads on core screens.
Google may use the advertising identifier to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, and limit ad personalization, in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads). Learn more in Google's Advertising policy.
Consent
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before using your data for advertising and measurement. This is handled by Google's User Messaging Platform, a Google-certified consent tool. Until you answer, analytics collection stays switched off.
You can change your choices at any time from inside the game: Settings → Privacy choices. If you decline, you will still be able to play and you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised.
4. Third-Party Services
We rely on Google services that process data under their own privacy policies:

5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. Information is shared only with the third-party service providers listed above, strictly to provide the features described here. Anonymous game-session data may be visible to a friend you invite to a multiplayer run.
6. Data Retention
Progress is stored locally on your device and is removed if you uninstall the App or clear its data. Anonymous multiplayer session data stored in Cloud Firestore is kept only as long as needed for the feature. Crash data is retained by Firebase Crashlytics according to Google's retention periods. Aggregated usage data in Google Analytics for Firebase is retained according to Google's retention settings for the property.
7. Children's Privacy
Wealthbound is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
8. Your Rights
Because we use an anonymous identifier and collect no directly identifying information, we cannot look you up by name. You can, however:
- change your advertising and measurement consent at any time in Settings → Privacy choices (shown where consent is required);
- reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings;
- clear all locally stored data, including your progress, by uninstalling the App.

9. Security
Data handled by the App is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) to Google's services. While no method of transmission is completely secure, we rely on Google's infrastructure and reasonable safeguards to protect the limited data involved.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
